Owambe Magazine Publisher, Peju flags monthly event

Akinyele Abraham flags out a new monthly event called 'Birthday Mate'. It is a monthly concept of the Owambe Team in which birthday celebrants of each month are brought together under a tripod pull to unwind, be celebrated and network with eachother.

It is the 1st of its kind and alien to the industry. The team is also set out to feature A-list celebs in her monthly dinner which is currently coming up. September berths the 'Birthday Mate Dinner' of which a more colourful and interesting time is expected in the coming months.

September featured ace hip hop act, Lord of Ajasa who came to grace the event and celebrated with his month mate at the dinner.

October Edition couldn't hold due to the Ileya Festival so the organizers have decided to combine both October and November shows together making it a big hit.

 

Olatosin Oluwaseun a 200 Level student of Babcock University studying International Law and Diplomacy is the current rave of the moment. He recently dropped a song with Eni Duro Crooner, Olamide titled 'Olele' which is currently enjoying massive airplays.

The 17 year old started his music career in 2009 while he was in high school and during which he did a lot of freestyles. His father is his major inspiration as he always played his bass guitar for him while he was a child. Through 2010 he always guided his singing most especially the use of the music keys.

Tip Tap Records, owned by Mr Adebola Yusuf Asepitan recently took interest in this young chap and decided to honour him as her first signed artiste.

A few works already with Reminisce and Terry G and set to be out soon while he alongside his label are working earnestly to push his career forward.
