HIP-HOP ACT, 9ICE SLAPS FAN FOR TOUCHING HIM AT LAIDE BAKARE’S MOVIE LAUNCH

Popular hip-hop artiste and Gongo Aso crooner, Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, shocked people present at Laide Bakare’s recent movie launch when he slapped a young male fan who tapped him in order to greet him. Trouble started when the dude beckoned on 9ice just to say hi, evidently 9ice didn’t hear him so he moved closer and tapped him on the shoulder. This annoyed the artiste who responded with a slap.

The aggrieved fan started shouting and 9ice proved himself a smart alec by whispering into his ear to pacify him. Our reporter asked the guy, who simply gave his name as Tunde, what transpired between them he replied—

“I was just trying to greet him but I don’t know what he thought I wanted to do before he slapped  me. But he begged me after and promised to see me when he’s leaving.”

“What did he say you should see him for?”

“I don’t know but I guess it’s money.”

We kept on the trail of the both of them and we witnessed Tunde following 9ice when he was set to leave and saw 9ice give him some money. When we asked the guy how much he was given, he replied, “please, don’t bother.”

Should we say he sold his right for money or got carried away with being 9ice’s fan? And why should 9ice decide to slap the young man for greeting him anyway?
