It came as a shock to some Oyo state politicians and Ibadan indegene when former governor of Oyo state Otunba Alao Christopher Akala decamp from peoples democratic party (PDP) to join the second ruling party in the state control by former governor of Oyo State , Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja last week at the State secretarial of Accord party in Ibadan. Information available to from stakeholder in Accord Party told Islanders that Alao Akala decision to join the party is to secure political office come 2015 and be relevant in Oyo State police and Nigeria at large. It was gardered that Alao Akala has seen the power tussle between him and former senate leader, Teslim Folarin who is in control of PDP in Oyo State and this we not give room or chance for him(Akala) to secure the senatorial ticket in the party which made him deflaw to Accord party. But this new development by Akala came as shock and surprise to many in Oyo state regards how the former deputy governor, Alao Akala ploted the impeachment of Ladoja when he was the governor which could have lead to Ladoja political down fall.  Thought, the source in Accord party hinted that politics is not like that but calculations and permutations to get a better result. That Akala is also a strong political leader in the state with a lot of followers and he joining the Accord party is additional plus for the party to plan ahead and unseat the incumbent governor in the state. He maintained that is going to be a strong force to posh out Governor Isiaka Ajumobi out of office in 2015 despite that Accord had two third honourables in Oyo State House Assembly. As if decamping of Akala was not enough. We are also informed that another strong men in Ibadan and Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State, Alh Soji Akanbi and Seyi Makinde are planning to join Accord party any moment from now. For those who are acquainted to Oyo State particularly Ibadan who known that Soji Akanbi is one strong man in politics particularly in the social circle and among the youth with philanthropist way of life in the state. In lieu of the reforming and planning to unseat Ajimobi by Ladoja some of Governor Ajimobi aids and commissioners was not left out as some of them are internally (underground) working with Ladoja (Accord Party) which they may also decamp to Accord Party as time goes on. It was gardered that it was even this aids and commissioners informing Ladoja the quickness and how Ajimobi operate his government. Is believed that the only state elder man who could call the governor into order is dead, Lam Adesina and he desired to run the State ACN the way he like wish most party members are not happy with it.

Meanwhile, we are informed that some elders of Ibadan was not happy with the governor over the projects he is been awarded to non-indigene of the State. It was learnt some of the elders who has been living on the little project are getting from the previous government but they are not getting it from the incumbent government as most of the projects/contracts are giving to outsider (non-indigene) particularly Lagos where they believe Ajimobi government is been control. For this reason most of Ibadan elders are also working and planning to get credible candidate come 2015 to unseat Ajimobi which they believe they are not benefit anything from it.

Lastly, another source in Ajimobi government informed that Ajimobi is aware of all the steps and planning by Ladojo, Akala, and Ibadan elders to unseat him. And it was alleged that all that are giving him a lot of head and worry but his also strategized to overcome all their plans to unseat him.
