The Pathetic story that surrounds popular Island big boy, NoPopo’s death + How He Died @ 33 Without Meeting His 8Yrs Old Daughter

As the year 2013 is about to end, Lagos Island witnessed another mourning when one of the fast raising business tycoon and well loved Island big boy, Habeeb Olarewaju Arowora popularly known as "Nopopo" bade the world goodbye. And he has been buried same day according to Muslim right.
The fun loving dude died in the early hours of December 2nd at the Ikeja General Hospital where he was admitted over a month after he was involved in a domestic gas explosion that occurred at his Sangotedo residence in Ajah.
It was gathered that the house help forgot to turn the gas cooker off properly after using it and on getting home, the socialite went into the kitchen and turned on the gas cooker and it exploded, leaving him with severe injuries. We also learnt that he spent some weeks in the hospital before giving up the ghost.
Habeeb was survived by his 8years old daughter Temi Arowora who sadly he had not set his eyes upon because her mother was sent to England to give birth to the un-born Temi and ever since the wife gave birth, they were both waiting to get their Green card in London before returning. Insiders told us that Temi's mum was making arrangement towards bringing her home to see her dad this December before the death of the sad incident occured.
Habeeb according to people is a jolly good fellowe, who trades in property, automobiles, Building and construction materials etc.
A fidau prayer session was held on Sunday at Hisbulilah Asalatu Praying ground, Mooney, Ebutte Metta, Lagos. Among those who grace the burial and Fidua prayer are Akinsiku of Lagos, custodian of Eye ,Chief Ademola Dosunmu known as Oba Dosunmu, Chief Bolaji Eso, Alh Muda Odetunde, Alh Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa and wife, Publisher of Islanders Magazine, Ola Mhammed, Alh Laide,Alao Malaika, Seyi Ogunde, Lanre Agbalaya, Rasheed Muri-Okunola,Jibola Williams, just to mention but few. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
