Felicia Olufunke Salako for burial


All roads will lead to the family of Pa David Oludiran Salako and the Royal family of Shofunwa as they commence the burial arrangement of their beloved mother; Mother In Celestial, Felicia Olufunke Salako (JP) Nee Shofunwa who passed on recently at the age of 83 years old.
According to the statement signed by Oluremi and Abiodun Ojebiyi; the burial arrangement will commence on Thursday the 5th of March with the lying in state at the Deceased residence at 10, Salako Street, Ilasamaja, Lagos at 4pm while the Christian wake-keeping comes up at CCC Ire-Akari Estate Parish Isolo at 6pm same day.
Mama Felicia according to her daughter, an America based socialite and music promoter; Oluremi Salako Daodu; she described Mama as a hardworking, loving and caring mother who remains her role at all time.
She said; “Mama lived a fulfilled life, a rare gem and a wonderful mother who did all she could to provide for her children and make their life better.”
Remi, added that what they intend to do is a celebration of a woman that has made their life a wonderful one.
Felicia’s funeral service/service of songs will start at 9am on Friday 6th March while interment follows immediately at Ikoyi cemetery, Lagos.


Reception and entertainment of guests would be held at The Manor Gardens Event Centre, Ogunusi Road, Omole Phase 1, Lagos.    
According to Oluremi and Abiodun Ojebiyi, the Deceased was survived by 6 children, 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Amongst her surviving children are Mrs. Abosede Ojuri; Mr&Mrs Olabode and Sola Salako; Folasade Akinyemi, Olugbenga Salako and Mrs Oluremi Daodu while Mrs Gbemisola Salako-Solu is deceased.
