ALL SET FOR OONI ADEYEYE OGUNWUSI’S ROYAL WEDDING TO WURAOLA OTITI

Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Enitan Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi,is presently swimming in boundless joy.In a matter of days, the youthful monarch will take a new wife. The beautiful lady, Wuraola Zynab Otiti Obanor, is a Bini damsel with Ile Ife roots. According to those in the know, after the traditional wedding, which will take place in Benin City, the celebration of love will climax with a thanksgiving ceremony, ile ife, palace,on 13th March. We gather that the Ooni took a new wife after his known first marriage to Adebukunola Ogunwusi crashed due to irreconcilable differences. If you have noticed, the monarch has been stepping out alone to all occasions and even on his official coronation on the 7th of December 2015; there was a distance between him and his wife Adebukunola Ogunwusi. We hear Adebukunola never assumed the role of an Oloori and never moved to the Palace; she left Ile-Ife town as soon as the coronation was over and has not been back there.Insiders revealed, that the Ooni is extremely happy over his impending marriage to Wuraola, who has since relocated from abroad,to take up her new role.Besides, it is alomst a taboo for a king in Yorubaland, especially that of Ooni's stature, Wuraola is said to from Oluyare Compound, Iremo Quarters in Ile- Ife, but a native of Benin City.Meanwhile, stories flying that the EFCC is presently investigating Ooni's company,Metropole Interproject Limited, over allegation of N400 million, fraud, has been debunked. The company is said to be involved with Sijuwade Holdings, the business empire left behind by immediate past Ooni if Ife, late Oba Okunade Sijuwade. In a strong statement released by Prince Tokunbo, rince Tokunbo, who is in charge of the business empire left behind by the late Ooni Sijuwade, who is in charge of the empire, the insinuation was described as an attempt by some enemies of progress to cause an unwarranted disharmony not only between the Sijuwade and
Ogunwusi royal families, but among Ife people.'We urge the public to ignore this sponsored campaign of calumny and advise the promoter of this sacrilegious statement to desist from such an attempt only capable of embarrassing a well respected royalty and causing needless acrimony between two royal families which may take the generations unborn to resolve'.
