SHOCKING! Transgender man celebrates successful childbirth, calls it a 'moment of bliss'

Now that's a miracle.

After losing one baby to a miscarriage, a transgender man and his husband are celebrating the arrival of their first biological child.

According to CNN, Trystan Reese gave birth on July 14. He and partner Biff Chaplow named their little bundle of joy Leo Murray Chaplow.

Although the baby boy is Reese and Chaplow's first biological child, the couple has been raising kids together for years. The outlet reported that the couple adopted Chaplow's niece and nephew in 2011.

"The moment he was born was just like a pure moment of bliss, like the happiest moment of my life," Chaplow told KOMO News. "To see the very beginning of Leo, of his life, was just like amazing."

Reese and Chaplow have been sharing updates about their unconventional journey along the way through Facebook. In their most recent baby-related post, Trystan posed with his son sleeping on his chest.

The pair also includes their other two children on their Facebook page, sharing photos and videos from their fun outings, cooking at home and more.

The proud papas confirmed that Leo was coming home from the hospital after having "received a clean bill of health" days prior.

Getting pregnant was no easy task for Reese. In June, he told CNN that he had stopped taking testosterone, which he'd been on for nearly a decade, in preparation for his pregnancy.

The hopeful-father added that he and Chaplow sought the guidance of their doctors.

"We've been under medical supervision the entire time," he told CNN at the time. "To make it as healthy and safe as possible."

The couple first announced that they were expecting in a Facebook post. Reese uploaded a video to the page explaining his decision to carry a child, despite presenting as male.

"I'm OK with my body being a trans body," he said in a later video. "I'm OK being a man who has a uterus and has the capacity and capability of carrying a baby."

Reese told CNN that after announcing his pregnancy he and Chaplow faced a lot of anonymous hate from online trolls.

"We find that behind the shroud of anonymity, people feel pretty empowered to tell us what should happen to us, to our children, to our family," he said. "The reason why you have a kid is because you want to see more love in the world, and remembering how difficult that's going to be, it's hard."

Since the birth of Leo, however, the couple has received an outpouring of love and positivity from social media followers.
