APC 2019 ELECTION CAMPAIGN MEGA RALLY: IFAKO-IJAIYE IN COMPLETE LOCKDOWN.

LResidents,party faithfuls, friends, families,relatives and all political office holders of Ifako- Ijaiye Origin under the aegis of the All progressives Congress ( APC) massively troop out enmasse across all the nooks and crannies on friday,18th January, 2019 to openly pledge their support for all the APC candidates contesting in the forthcoming general election of February 16th and March 2nd respectively during the official Flag off of the LGA Campaign rally/walk which commenced from Ifako all through to Fagba junction  for the convergence with Iju residents to kickstart the unprecedented campaign rally/ walk.

Ifako-Ijaiye LG’s presence at the campaign rally/walk was colossal,as party leaders and faithfuls such as the incumbent APC party chairman, Deacon Banjo Omole, Executive Chairman, Ifako-Ijaiye LG, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke,Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Abayomi Ogunnusi, Incumbent House of Representatives member, Hon. Nurudeen Olaitan Akinwunmi, who also doubles as the coordinator of Sanwo-Olu foot soldiers in Ifako-Ijaiye LGA,former vice chairman,Hon. Kayode Aremo,who also doubles as the coordinator of the Sanwo-Olu vanguard in Ifako-Ijaiye LGA,Hon. Temitope Adedeji Adewale,APC flag bearer for the Lagos state house of Assembly constituency 01,and Hon. James Owolabi, APC flagbearer for the House of Representatives in the upcoming 2019 elections all converged at the idiagbon Permanent secretariat of  Ifako-Ijaiye LG to commence the walk from 9:00am in anticipation for the event in their colorful Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Buhari/ Nextlevel/ YAYI/ ATA/ Owolabi attire for showcase. It was an amalgamation of all campaign structures collapsed to one,whose presence was massive as Oke and Omole led the convoy of mass transits, buses, cars, articulated vehicles and mammoth crowd of party members and faithfuls to initiate a campaign walk through from Fagba junction via Jonathan Coker to new oko-oba to progress road to Abule Egba jubilee bridge to Lagos Abeokuta express way via u-turn bus stop to Ahmadiyya to Ajala where detour was made to the Akinola street open field in ojokoro area for the venue of the stage set for the campaign proper where Ifako-Ijaiye LG and Ojokoro LCDA contingents eventually converged.

As the stage is set, leaders and all APC candidates were invited to the podium as oke introduced everyone to set the tone for the banters, glitz and glamour associated with such event.

Apostle  Oke, who used the Mega Rally  event  to appreciate  and thank the  large audience and APC members  across board in Ifako-Ijaiye/Ojokoro council  areas for their  resilience  and determination  to ensure victories  for All Progressives Congress (APC)  Candidates  in Lagos State  and President  Muhammad  Buhari/ Yemi Osinbajo  Re-election  bid for the Next Level in February/March, 2019 General Elections, urged the  electorate  in the area to  massively  vote, Hon. Rasheed Makinde, for Lagos State House of Assembly, FKJ constituency 02;Tope Adewale(JAH), Ifako-Ijaiye constituency  01;James Adisa Owolabi, House of Rep.Federal Constituency; Senator Adeola Olamilekan (YAYI)for Lagos west senate seat;as well as Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu/ Hamzat, as Lagos State  Guber candidates.

He added that "Mr Babajide  Sanwo-Olu (BOS), being an experienced  administrator and consummate  administrator  cum politician, is the best candidate  for the job in Lagos State, noting that the APC' s gubernatorial  candidate's track records under the administration  of our  political  father and juggernaut, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Actualizer, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), as commissioners  at various levels, before he went to further his education  and came back to serve the state as Managing Director, LSDPC, placed him far above other contestants in the state", he said.

Also speaking  at the rally, Member, House of Rep, Ifako-Ijaiye Federal  Constituency, Hon. Akinwunmi Nurudeen Olaitan, stated that "the walk through  " campaign rally, which attracted  unprecedented  crowd is apparently  an endorsement  and victories for  all APCs candidates in the 2019 General Elections, urging  the electorate  to vote enmasse for President Muhammad  Buhari/Osinbajo, Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat, Senator Solomon  Olamilekan(YAYI), and other APC Candidates to take Nigeria and Lagos State to the Next Level.

Dr Ipaye, The Governor Advisory council member(GAC) representing Ifako-Ijaiye charged members to make a pledge with their PVC that only the Candidates of APC will get their votes while urging them that the message is from our National Leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The APC party chairman in Ojokoro, Alhaji Bello urged members to explore the PVC collection window currently on going to ensure they pick up their PVC’s as the only means to a victorious election in the next few weeks.Other dignitaries that spoke during the event include: Hon. HID, Executive Chairman, Ojokoro LCDA,His Vice,Hon. Sesan and Alhaja Faaji .
