SENATOR FLORENCE ITA-GIWA SET TO EXPAND BUSINESS FRONTIER

Talk about the qualities and features of a good mother, then Senator Florence Ita-Giwa falls into that perfect description. Mama Bakasi as she is fondly called, is an epitome of style, panache, allure and class laced with a rare kind heart. Senator Florence has been on the forefront of fighting for the upliftment of humanity and the downtrodden since her young age. Little wonder, why she has been aging with grace and unlimited favour from her creator. The delectable onetime special adviser to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, celebrated her 73rd birthday few weeks. Still looking agile, fit like a fiddle, Senator Florence is still full of humour.

Unknown to many, Senator Ita-giwa has one hidden passion; she loves cooking. The kitchen is her best part of the house. To confirm this, you can take a trip to her Bellavista Home in Banana Island. This has spurred her to open restaurant in the heart of Calabar few years back. In a quest to expand her business frontier, promoting the rich Calabar culture and its delicacies, Senator Florence is planning to launch a new upscale restaurant named 'Echoes of Calabar', situated on the highbrow area of Akin Olugbade Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on the 3rd of March 2019 and also mark her 73rd birthday proper. The upscale restaurant will play host to top guests from all walks of life across Nigeria. The restaurant will cater for the needs of food lovers of Intercontinental, local and calabar dishes on the island.
