Kogi elections: How governor Bello’s ADC allegedly blocked Lokoja road with armed thugs against citizens

Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, has explained that the ADC to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello barricaded the Abuja to Lokoja road with over 200 armed thugs to stop prominent citizens of the state from participating in elections.
Dino said the ADC on the orders of his principal were on the road a day to the general elections, stopping and disarming Police orderliness of prominent Kogi citizens and turning them back to Abuja from Kotonkarfe.

The lawmaker, speaking while presenting a motion, “Militarization of the Nigeria Electoral Process and the inconsistent application of electoral laws by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said, he entered his constituency through ‘celestial means..’
In his narrative, he said, the former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris was turned back by the armed thugs on the instructions of Bello’s ADC.

“Mr. President, distinguished colleagues, it will interest you to know that the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris was turned back by armed thugs after disarming his Police orderly. ”
“Many prominent Kogi citizens were turned back by over 200 thugs who were personally led by the ADC to governor Yahaya Bello, but I have to enter my constituency through celestial means.”
He further explained that the general elections in Kogi State was massively rigged and votes bought, stating that the election was the worst in history.

He recalled how election in Rivers State turned out the ugly way, wondering how the APC led government in connivance with the Independent National Electoral Commission killed a lecturer who decided to serve his nation.
