The Arewa Offa Cultural ceremony is one of the most popular activities lined up to commemorate the Ijakadi Week an annual event which was introduced to Offa by the Oloffa of Offa last year. The one week programme will start on the 22nd of December with an opening community Health Seminar/health Care. Other activities include the District Street Carnival, Self-help Community project Commissioning, Commemorative community Tree Planting, Festival Cultural Night, Prayers at Olofa’s Palace, Offa Descendent Union(ODU) Annual Conference, Offa Cuisine Exhibition (Food Expo), Homage to the Olofa of Offa, Festival Community Idupe and Jumat Service, Arewa Offa cultural Pageant, Ijakadi Offa Grand Finale, presentation of Awards and Gifts, festival Musical Concert Nite, Festival Community Church Thanksgiving and olofa’s Royal Annual Dinner . The event is an initiative of the stylish and first class Oba in Kwara State and it has served as a networking platform for the sons and daughters of Offa both at home and in Diaspora to meet and relate well . In between the one week event the business mogul Oba shall host one of the stylish top Nollywood Actress Remi Oshodi otherwise called Remi surutu in his multi-million Naira mega palace.
