There are strong indications currently making the rounds in and outside the industry that ailing Nollywood actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu better known as “Ogun Majek” is dead.
The purported news broke this afternoon when some unknown people wrote ‘RIP’ on his picture and posted it on social media, WhatsApp precisely.
Those who doesn’t have access to him kept sending private messages to us to confirm the sad news but we promised to get back to them as soon as possible.
Having heard that, we placed a call to the executive governor of Theater And Motion Picture Practitioner Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Oyo State Chapter, Yeye Rose Odika who confirmed to us that the news is fallacy.
According to her, “Ogun Majek is alive. He is responding to treatment and we pray that God will give him speedy recovery so as to return to acting soonest”, Odika said.
