Also, there will be a book launch to honour the event and conversation on re - imagining a better world inspired by adolescent girls.

Ijayekunle said the NGO “offer Counseling, Therapy, Psychosocial Support and Education empowerment to survivors of rape and all other forms of gender based violence.

She noted that the targets of the organisation are women and girls.

“When we started out 7 years ago, we found that one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or abused in some other way – most often by someone she knows, including by her husband or another male family member.

“This was why we targeted that specific demographic to educate and sensitize about rape and sexual abuse.

“We aim to offer Nigerians, especially the young adults and teenagers through this project, hope for a better tomorrow, upholding their right to life,” she added.

Meanwhile, the event is scheduled to hold on Instagram @heartmindersnig
