Barring any last minute changes, ahead of the All Progressives Congress membership registration and revalidation, the initiator of the LAGOS4LAGOS movement, Mr. Abdul - Azeez Olajide Adediran, has embarked on a visit to all the 20 Local Government Areas of Lagos state.

The visit which is aimed at sensitizing the people at the grassroots and also to ensure compliance across all polling units of the state, recorded major successes, as the people gave the assurances of coming out enmasse to register under the platform of the APC.

Represented by leaders of the Lagos4Lagos movement, Jandor as he is fondly called, applauded the level of work done by the special committee of registration and revalidation.

He urged all members to ensure that every intending member of the party is registered and the existing ones complete the revalidation exercise.

“You must all comply by the rules of the exercise, do not be intimidated, if you see any suspicious act, call the help lines and we will take up the matter immediately,” he added.

Speaking further,Jandor reiterated that the exercise is to ensure activation of a reset button in APC,a development that will inform injection of fresh energies, ideas and Democratic tendencies in the party.

Leaders of the team who represented Jandor include;  Hon. Olufemi Musa  (Ikorodu), Hon. Hassan Yaya (Lagos Island), Hon. Tajudeen Aremu (Lagos Mainland), Hon. Bode (Makinde Epe, Ibeju Lekki) and Hon. Deji Osho (Amuwo Odofin).

Reading the riot act on Wednesday, the chairman caretaker extraordinary national convention planning commission (CECPC) of the party, Mai Mala Buni, said “Let me make it abundantly clear that the party would not condone any act of sabotage of denying anyone or group of persons from registering. The party would deal decisively with anyone or group who attempt hijacking the exercise.  Everyone must be allowed and given the chance to register.

Buni noted that “The party has adequate back up materials to ensure a successful exercise and no one is disenfranchised”.
