It's been a busy and productive year for delectable actress, Laide Bakare, one of the most sought after actresses in the country.
She recently released a statement about her forthcoming multi-million naira movie project. The movie, aptly titled "Jejere" which featured the actress herself and other talented actors and actresses in the movie industry, also have popular singer, 9ice played a mojor role.
Also Emeka ike, Akin Lewis, Fathia Balogun, Toyin Adegbola, etc.
Apart from movie, Laide is also into a couple of other projects.
Her production company Simline International Limited is full-fledge production house; its boasts of state-of-the-art movie production equipment. The actress has also decided to invest and partake in the growth of Music Business. Her love for music has informed the setting up of Record label subsidiary of the production house.
"Simline Records is borne out of my love for music and the art. My interest is solely to help identify, grow and support talented youths."
The record label has spotted and signed talented singer T-Code. The signing which took place last week had both party excited and ready to take on the music industry.
"It’s been a wonderful year all together. I'm excited about my projects. The movie, the production company and my new record label and artistes", Laide stated. "I have every reason to be grateful to God. I appreciate Him and all that have supported me so far." she concluded.
Simline International Limited is putting together a world-class event to officially unveil and present these projects to the world. The event, tagged "The Laide Bakare Experience" will feature the premiere the movie "Jejere" and official presentation of the record label and it's artiste(s). The event will be rounded up with a concert that'll feature performances by King Wasiu Ayinde (K1), T-Code and 9ice amongst others.
"The Laide Bakare Experience" is billed to take place at Orchid Hotel, Lekki on Sunday January 13, 2013.
