CELEBRITIES JOIN CAMPAIGN FOR HANG UP AND DRIVE
Arrive Alive and Box Office announces the launch
of the Hang Up and Drive campaign.
This is in response to the increasing number of
accidents on our roads owing to the indiscriminate use of mobile phones on the
wheels. Now that is Uncool.
Social media platforms are delivering real-time
communication in a way never seen before.
In the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen and on
office walkways - people are stuck to their mobile phones. But on the wheels-
that’s a No.
The world Health Organization revealed that Road
traffic injuries are the leading causes of death for ages 15-29 years and this must
be brought to an end. In response to this, Arrive Alive Road Safety Initiative
and Box Office Development Partners are launching the first in a series of
campaigns aimed at raising awareness on the dangers of distracted driving and
letting you know that it’s so Uncool to use your mobile phones whilst driving.
The awareness campaign is tagged HANG UP AND DRIVE
