The news came as a shock and surprise to many Fuji fans when they see pictures of King Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Anifowose popularly called K1 De Ultimate (Mayegun of Yoruba Land) and King Saheed Akorede Babatunde Okunola known Saheed Osupa embracing each other in a joyful mood.
It was learnt that the philosophical Fuji star paid K1 De ultimate a visit in Ibadan, at Best Western Hotel, Iyaganku, government reserved Area(GRA), Ibadan where Mayegun lodged since his coronation. It was gathered that the visit was as a result of Saheed Osupa’s absent from the coronation of K1 De Ultimate at Oyo town, Oyo State last Monday.
Meanwhile, during the coronation, all Fuji artistes excluding Obesere, Ayuba and Saheed Osupa were absent. We can authoritatively tell you that Fuji Music industry is witnessing 90 percent of peace and Unity with the effort of the dynamic, workaholic and intelligent Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria president, (FUMAN) Alhaji Sikiru Agboola known as Sk sensation who has been on the reconciliation and unity of Fuji music close to a year now. Prior to this time, SK sensation has made a move of reconciling K1 De Ultimate and Saheed Osupa three months ago when he visited Osupa at his Magodo home making him to realize while Fuji Musicians must be in unity after the president and two other executive members of FUMAN engaged in over three hours discussion with Osupa to see reasons why he has to embrace peace in FUMAN. After the discussion Osupa promised the executive peace and unity will reign from his quarter to all Fuji musicians.h
In proving his word of unity and peace to the executive of FUMAN , Saheed Osupa celebrated Pasuma birthday on his social media which came as a surprise to everyone particularly Fuji fans. Also, Osupa congratulated K1 De Ultimate on his new chieftaincy title, Mayegun of Yoruba Land on all his social media platform .
Osupa who was unable to attend the coronation of Mayegun of Yoruba Land due to unknown reason. But he now dime it fit to pay a courtesy visit to K1 in Ibadan. In lieu, K1 and Osupa engaged themselves in discussion in the presence of K1 top fans like Ismail Fijabi, Bashir Kuti (BKK), Shina Alabi, Alh Kehinde Basar Lateef, Olamilekan Gaji, Hon. Bayo Olasoju and Wole BKK for over an hour and Osupa told K1 he has nothing against him while K1 also admit so too and they both joke about it.
Furthermore, K1, Osupa and Bayo Olasoju (k1 Manager) also had a close door meeting which lasted for 26-minutes after which they all came out smiling.
It was also learnt that Saheed Osupa corporate manager and publicity manager, Ola Muhammed play a very significant role to made the reconciliation a success story.
The rift between K1 and Osupa started in 2018 when K1 narrated the history of Fuji music at Goldberg roundtable event tagged ‘Ariya repete’ at Airport Hotel and Osupa refuted k1 claims in different interviews and albums for omitting late Doctor Sikiru Ayinde Barrister as creator of Fuji music.
