The music act was honored last Sunday February 2, 2020 in Ghana at the Yoruba Image International award with prestigious award of evergreen musician. The award was presented to the Fuji star by his colleague, Saheed Osupa.
At the historical event which had in attendance 80 percent of Nigerians particularly Yorubas in Ghana, was also well attended by Ghanians and some Obas in Ghana.
After receiving the award , the Abeokuta based Fuji artiste appreciates the organizer of the award, Alhaji Qudril Hamzat and thanked every Fuji fans in Ghana other parts of the world of the world for their immense contribution to the development of Fuji music. He also promises never to relent and give more.
Meanwhile, Shefiu is one talented and philosophical fuji artistes in Nigeria who has make wave for himself since the 70s that he has been making good music in the industry the industry that has touched and changes lives.
