Ever since the disgraceful assault was committed by first class king, Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi against another Oba, Agbowu of Ogbagba, Oba Dhikirulahi Olabira, the controversy stirred is yet to abate as man, both inside and outside the kingdoms have been taking sides on the issue.
Interestingly, unknown to many, the Oluwo is not comfortable at the moment over the step the authorities will take over his action.
Those who should know reliably informed us that the Oluwo is only putting up a show when he acts as if nothing whatsoever can shake him. In the real sense we are told that he is regretting his action and has been sending powerful people to top government officials both in the state and federal to save him from imminent disgrace should an action be taken.
According to our dependable source, Oluwo has contacted the forner governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and has also contacted Oba Saheed Elegushi to help him out.
Oluwo was reported to have beaten , Agbowu of Ogbagba, Oba Dhikirulahi Olabira last Friday during a peacemaking meeting held in the office of the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Zone 11, Mr Bashir Makama.
The AIG had summoned Oluwo and other monarchs from towns around Iwo to a peace meeting over an accusation by the Oluwo that the monarchs were selling pieces of land belonging to him.
