Information available to us from a source in the palace of late king, Oba Rafiu Salami Olusegun Onibeju of Ibeju-Lekki told us that the king dead early this morning after brief sickness. 
His Royal Majesty, Oba Olusegun Rafiu Salami was one of the biggest monarchs/landowners in Lagos due to the new land acquisition going on in that area. The monarch who has been on the throne on the 21st of December, 2007 for over a decade has his boundaries from Abijan to Akodo. He was the Chairman of the Council of Obas in the Lekki and Ibeju Lekki axis. Ibeju Lekki is a thriving community which is gradually becoming the hub of Nigerian real estate activities.
