Praise, 17-yrs, Needs 2m For Tumor Surgery, Ask Nigerians, For Help


Here is the painful ordeal of 17-year-old praise Olugola’s life that has been battling with Sinonasal Tumor since March 2020.
Her ordeal according to her father, Mr Daniel Olugola started early in March this year after fervently complaining about a headache.
“What usually comes to mind is getting her ordinary pain relief tablet, not knowing it was beyond that”
Daniel Olugola said that the pain went unabated and after while, a white substance that looks more like red clout  started gushing out from her Nose, “I became bothered, rush her to a hospital behind our residence, but all was not well, “she was referred to another hospital in Ado Ekiti, still no improvement, until we found ourselves in Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
"17-year-old Praise Olugola is a Senior Prefect of Acme private School with a location at olunla, in ikorodu, had  scored 279 points in her first attempt in joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination year (2020) with high expectation to commence studying Mass Communication at the University of Lagos before this life-threatening ailment strolls in with wanting to cut short her Dreams, justifying the reason  she’s appealing to well-meaning Nigerians and her governor, his Excellency Dr Kayode Fayemi for help".

So far, Miss. praise has undergone many test but that this specific one that is demanding a lot of money from them is the one that is expected of them to carry out in India
“You know that this battle started before the lockdown and the interstate movement really gave us much challenge, the money I’ve spent on the test alone carried out locally and other drugs had drained all I have in my pocked as nothing is left even though the option of taking her to India was mooted but how can such an idea be possible when our financial ability is unable to take care of the local one, there is no way such could come in reality except with the help of wonderful Nigerians ”
“The hospital is expected to collect charges, the test in India is there, drugs and other expenditures as the plot of land proceed that I sold at the rate of Four hundred thousand had equally been drained as a result”.
The emotional lading father of Miss. praise Olugola who busted in tears while talking to urban express News pleaded with well-meaning Nigerians and the Ekiti state Governor, Dr Fayemi who he describes as the father of the people to come to their aide as nothing is left with them (parent) to further the treatment of their daughter.

“She was diagnosed with Sinonasal Tumor where after getting to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), some surgery were carried out on the 25th of May 2020, but still needs further full treatment to survive”.

“As we speak, there are mandatory drugs that we are expected to get on a daily basis but nothing is on me right now financially, Daniel Olugola said.

He said what is needed  to carry out the surgery identified as “Sinonasal Tumor”  is estimated at 2million Naira for Miss. Praise Olugola and that Doctors said it must be as quick as possible as she is going through serious pain and bleeding
“I will appreciate every assistance that can be put to use in rescuing her”
