Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni Mourns Braimoh: He Was Excellent In His Ways; Read Full Tribute Here

On Friday, 10 July, 2020, we woke up to the sad news that we have lost the Big Daddy; Hon. Olatunde Buraimoh is dead.
Hon. Buraimoh, my brother, my colleague in whom we share similar paths in public life, served the state meritoriously as an executive, administrator and legislator. Beyond dutiful, he was excellent in his ways. Aside benevolence, he was a cheerful philanthropist. Alongside being personable, he was very affable. He was a responsible family man, role model and mentor in the right courses.
Hon. Tunde Buraimoh lived a worthy life of fulfilments and died a quintessential public servant. He was not just brilliant but also very resourceful. The Lagos State House of Assembly will certainly miss his invaluable contributions toward the course of a better Lagos.
However, further than the agonies of “one death too many”, the shocking death of Hon. Buraimoh is a rude lesson for all of us – indeed, we would all end in death. Thus, we should all invest our lives in the right courses, for our histories shall definitely supersede us.
May Allah give Hon. Buraimoh an easy and blissful journey, be pleased with him, forgive all his sins and shower blessings on his grave.
I pray may Allah heal the pains of his family, friends and relatives, endow them with patient, strengths and blessings in these difficult times.
May Allah be pleased with Lagos state and cleanse for state of all terminal diseases and sudden deaths.

Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni is the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly
