Lagos4Lagos: Team Jandor celebrates one year anniversary of Liberty place

holds prayers for Lagos,Nigeria

The major socio-political group in Lagos, TEAM JANDOR together with other registered groups such as the Jandor Independent Group and the Ibile-Eko Forum, on Thursday, held a special prayer session to commemorate the one year anniversary of Liberty Place, Team Jandor's Headquarters and State Secretariat and also to seek God’s mercies for the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria at Large.

The session which had the Lead Visioner of TEAM JANDOR, Mr. Abdul – Azeez Olajide Adediran, fondly called Jandor in attendance, also featured a review of the journey so far, display of Lagos rich culture and words of admonition and encouragement.

It could be recalled that Jandor had earlier addressed a state-wide broadcast in the early hours of the Independence Day, which was aired on Africa Independent Television, Lagos Television, Muritala International Television (MiTV), Bond FM and Core TV.

In his remarks, he acknowledged  that “our history as a people of diverse culture, beliefs and religious leanings; cohabiting in different states and contributing our varying share into our homeland, Nigeria.”

“In Lagos, the jury is still out on our exact state of independence, particularly with a curious peek into various aspects of our present-day living, given the resources available to the state. Have we indeed had a say regarding who manages or how our resources are deployed?” Jandor asked.

He noted that Team Jandor has “taken independence seriously and it is no coincidence that today marks the first anniversary of our Head Office and Project Secretariat, deliberately christened ‘Liberty Place’, from where I lead the charge for our Lagos4Lagos project, a venture that seeks true independence and well-being for every tax-paying inhabitant of Lagos”.

Speaking on the daily increase of the memberships of the group across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council development Areas of the state, Jandor said “the project was borne out of a candid assessment of the history leading to our current state; and a firm decision to put in our share of effort in ensuring that the current living conditions of Lagosians is not at the behest of the mood of any individual; it must be much better and truly reflective of our vast resources in Lagos.”

Also present at the prayer session include the former Secretary to the State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran Ogunsanya among other prominent personalities.
