Shameful Act: Nigerian Musician In Prison For Raping 15-Yr-Old Girl In Lagos
A Lagos based musician, Friday Freedom has been
remanded in the Kirikiri Prison by an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for allegedly rap!ng a 15-year-old girl.
27-year-old up-coming Freedom who lives on Kilani Street, Papa Ashafa, Agege, allegedly ra’p ed the girl on Saturday, November 21, at his residence after he had invited her over on the pretense that he wanted her to run an errand for him.
Police prosecutor, Sergeant Jimah Iseghede, told the court presided over by Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias that the girl is currently receiving treatment in a hospital following injuries he infl!cted on her.
“The girl is presently on admission at one of the general hospitals as a result of the injury she sustained,” Iseghedehe said.
When the one-count charge of ra’p e was read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty and Elias ordered that he be remanded till November 28 when the case will be heard.
